One of my favorite, easy-breezy looks is to take a big ole sweatshirt and layer it over a skater skirt.  I've worn this skirt all the time, but it's one of my most trusted staples.  I bought it probably 5 years ago from Brandy Melville, and I swear, I'm so happy I did. I wear this baby at least once a week, and it's one of my favorite pieces in my closet.

One of the things I loved so much about this splatter paint sweatshirt was the cinching at the bottom. This is a "trend" I've worn for YEARS- whenever I was little, my mom would always cinch my sweatshirts by threading some elastic at the bottom, so they didn't look so big and baggy on me.  So when I saw that this sweatshirt had the same cinching at the bottom, I was in love. Just a little tip, this is also a great way to wear your sweatshirts if you want to wear them over a skirt. By cinching the bottom, it causes the fabric to hug to your body and stay in place, better than a traditional seam does. I recommend finding a skater-skirt that really hugs your waist well. This look can easily become shapeless, so finding a skirt that gives you a bit of a waist can help bring some shape into your outfit.

I feel like I've been giving a lot of styling tips lately, but it's what I've been enjoying the most, to be completely honest. I think I want to take these posts more in the direction of giving styling advice, creative direction advice, etc. What do you think? Would you like to see more of that? Let me know down below!
