Dream On, Dreamer

Isn't it fun to just daydream? I love it. While I'm driving or sitting in class, I always find myself daydreaming a bit. Whether it's about the future, or about my goals, I love to sit and just think. Perhaps that's why I love mediating so much- it's a few minutes out of my day where I can just think uninterruptedly.
One of my biggest goals for myself is to transfer to UC Berkeley my junior year of college. I just love the school: the campus, the location, the progressive nature. Plus, the quality of education is just incredible. So it was only fitting that I shot this look on the beautiful Berkeley campus itself. It was a gorgeous day, the sun was shining, flowers were blooming... it just made me love the campus even more.
But Berkeley dream aside, I have so many more dreams. So many. Sometimes, I think I'm crazy with the amount of dreams I can conjure up. Travel the world, fall in love. Make enough money to afford my own apartment, create a clothing company, publish a book. Of course these are only the tip of the iceberg, and there's quite more I could share. But regardless, dreams are important, and for more than just giving one goals to strive towards. Dreams, at least for me, are what keep life exciting. They give me something to continue to look forward to. Something to wake up every morning and get excited about. Something, even, to dedicate your work to, and fuel your desire to work harder.
But it's not enough to just work hard. Sure, that's half the battle, but working hard is not everything. I know this probably contradicts everything you've learned, and you probably think I'm crazy, but it's true: working hard is not everything. Because the other part, the other half to the equation, is believing. Not believing and doubting and forgetting, but believing, with every single fiber of your being, that you will accomplish this goal. Your thoughts directly shape how and what you accomplish in life, and if you turn your thoughts in a positive way, it'll help push your goals further towards accomplishment. This, in essence, is referred to as the law of attraction, and I highly, highly recommend reading up on it, if it's a new concept to you. It's life changing, and it really does work.
As the saying goes, "dreams don't work unless you do". And whether that's physical work or mental work, work is work. If you're willing to put in the work, you can accomplish any single thing you want in life. You truly can.
What are you going to accomplish?
