Raise your hand if you're excited for winter! I'm actually not. Cute sweaters aside, I am not a fan of the cold weather. Nope, this California girl likes her sunshine! I guess I'm spoiled, having been born and bred in this state. I'm always shocked at how people elsewhere can tolerate living in such cold weather, especially snow. Not that I don't appreciate the cold weather, but it's just not my cup of tea.
Thankfully, cold in California means dresses with jackets, which is why I'm super excited to be sharing this winter look with you guys! This look is so super cozy, yet super cute. I definitely recommend it if you want to look like you got ready, but feel like you stayed in your pjs.
This Zara dress is one of my absolute favorite pieces I own, and I was so bummed that I couldn't find it online! I bought it in-store in San Francisco and there was literally only one when I saw it. I haven't been able to find anything else like it, either, which is why nothing is linked above. It makes me so sad, because this dress is amazing and I wish you all could experience it too! I know that sounds lame, but seriously. Not only is this dress so uber soft even after several washes, but it's so simple and so cute. I mean, look at that back pleat! I'm obsessed with it.
Another obsession with mine? This Brandy Melville jacket! I saw it in stores about year ago and it was love at first sight. It's a little more big and oversized on me than it's supposed to be, but Brandy's "one size fits all" motto often doesn't take into account petite or larger body types. But it's okay! I tend to favor oversized clothes anyway, and I think the larger size just makes this coat extra-cozy. :)
And these boots?! Well, they're some of my faves! We all know I have a thing for booties (the shoe kind) and these are some of my favorites! They've become my go-to city shoe. Not only are they durable, but they are so soft and comfortable inside! Perfect for running around the cracked and crooked streets of Oakland and San Francisco, as one regularly does. ;)
This outfit made me feel so soft and cuddly... like a lil teddy bear. This double pom-pom beanie kind of helped with that, too, since they kind of look like ears. Speaking of which, I have a beanie with a teddy bear face on it. I totally should dig it up and photograph it. Look out for Teddy Bear pt.2, which may come your way soon.
