Head-to-toe Forever 21! Somedays, that's just how I roll. ;) While designer items are nice and fun, I don't think you have to blow your money on expensive items to create a great wardrobe. Sometimes, some less-expensive items do just the trick!
This dress and shirt are actually connected, which is something I didn't realize when I bought it. I totally thought they were separate! It wasn't until I tried it on that I realized the "shirt" is actually a tiny little crop top sewn into the dress. Honestly, I was kind of bummed, because I wanted to wear the shirt separately too. I might end up cutting them apart so I can wear the dress with other tops underneath.
If you're a shortie like me, be prepared for this dress to be looooooong! Thankfully, it's not awkwardly long, so you can get away with wearing it without any alterations. For reference, I'm 5'0", so if you're shorter than me, alterations may be necessary. But, if you're my size or taller, then you should be good, especially if you pair it with some heeled booties, like these ones.
Speaking of these booties... they're literally my favorite thing! They were a S.T.E.A.L when I got them (only $25!) and the quality is amazing. Really thick, nice, vegan leather, with a sort of fuzzy interior. I had been eyeing boots like these from Topshop, but when I saw the Forever 21, dupe, I just couldn't resist the great deal. In fact, they were such a good steal that they completely sold out! But no worries, I linked two very similar styles above, and they're just as good of a deal.
We all know how much I love 90's fashion, and this outfit just screams 90's to me. I was born in the 90's, and I just love the fashion, the music, and the culture from that era. I try to replicate the stylings in a modern way (you never want to look dated) and I think that I've maaaaaaybe pulled that off with the help of this gorgeous necklace! Which, by the way, is such a good deal!
Talk to you loves soon!
